Hugo elected to Regional Board

Hugo at the Regional Conference with Richard Burgon

Hugo Fearnley elected to represent Scarborough & Whitby on Labour Regional Board.

Having been nominated by Scarborough & Whitby CLP to stand for a position on the Regional Board, I was delighted to be elected alongside my colleague Yvonne Pattison at the recent party conference in Saltaire.

I have already taken the opportunity to speak colleagues currently on the board and along with Yvonne, I look forward to providing a much needed voice for our constituency at the regional level of the party. I have seen the structures of the party begin to be reformed and have already contributed to this development via locally organised democracy review workshops. I wish to continue this work at every level and ensure the Labour Party of the 21st century is inclusive, democratic and member led.
